Stephen Bathgate works at Forest Research on the development and integration of bioclimatic datasets with models of forest growth & climate risk, delivering geospatial decision support systems to support the forestry community. As part of the BIOFORCE project he is leading a team delivering updates to Ecological Site Classification, including the introduction of climate sensitive growth models and drought risks, UKCP18 data and new models representing the potential yield of Agroforestry systems.
